Brie Larson Teases ‘The Marvels’ With New Logo

Brie Larson takes to social media to tease Captain Marvel 2, The Marvels, as she shows off a necklace featuring the logo of all three characters combined, which looks to include her character, and Ms. Marvel Iman Vellani, and Teyonah Parris from WandaVision

Larson posted the release date, February 17, 2023.

Brie Larson teases The Marvels:

Captain Marvel 2 The Marvels

The Marvels flies higher, further, faster

The movie recently wrapped filming and instead of a straight “Captain Marvel 2,” Kevin Feige decided to add Iman Vellani and Monica Rambeau to the cast.

No plot details are known, but Marvel.com has described the flick as: The sequel to Captain Marvel flies higher, further, faster with director Nia DaCosta as Brie Larson (Captain Marvel) is joined by Teyonah Parris (Monica Rambeau) and Iman Vellani (Kamala Khan).

Nia DaCosta is directing, WandaVision writer Megan McDonnell wrote the script, and the film also stars Zawe Ashton who is said to be playing the villain of the movie, and Samuel L. Jackson is back as Nick Fury.

It’s also possible the Secret Invasion Disney Plus series could tie into The Marvels as the series featuring Samuel L. Jackson and Ben Mendelsohn back as the Skrull, Talos.

Brie Larson is also featured in the post-credit scene for Shang-Chi where following The Avengers: Endgame, Carol Danvers ditched the short hair and grew her hair back.

The first Captain Marvel was released in 2019 just prior to Avengers: Endgame and brought in over $1.1 billion at the box office (read my review here).
