Benicio Del Toro, known for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, is in talks to star in the new big budget Shane Black Predator movie.
Deadline reports the actor is in early talks.
The Shane Black-directed Predator movie has a February 9, 2018 release date, with the movie said to begin filming this Fall.
It was also said the new Predator movie will be set on Earth in the present day.
Shane Black also directed Iron Man 3, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, The Nice Guys and is directing the upcoming Dwayne Johnson Doc Savage movie.
Benicio Del Toro will be featured in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and Star Wars: Episode VIII, recently completed filming on Weightless, and has The Corporation and Soldado in the works.
