Andrew Lincoln Walking Dead Season 10

While Rick Grimes will be exiting the series this season, it’s learned that Andrew Lincoln will return to direct an episode for The Walking Dead Season 10.

The actor filled in EW.com that he will be returning to the set in Senoia, GA shortly (where filming for season 9 is still taking place) to learn the directing ropes, with the plan being to direct his own eipisode for The Walking Dead Season 10.

“I’m going back,” Andrew Lincoln. “I’m going back to shadow a director, and my intention is to direct next year.”

It has been reported that Andrew Lincoln decided to leave The Walking Dead to keep closer in touch with his family who lives in the UK, but we see the actor still has the series in his blood.

“I can’t be that far away because I can’t bear it,” laughs Lincoln. “That’s how much I am invested in the show and the continuation of the story.”
