This past weekend saw Sarah Paulson direct the episode that sees the debut of Jessica Lange in American Horror Story: Apocalypse.

“To celebrate 300 k followers, here’s a first look at the return of Queen Constance…the one and only Lady Lange…being directed by that dynamo of wit and talent Sarah Paulson. Love them both!” Murphy posted.
As we see, Ryan Murphy confirms Jessica Lange will return as Constance Langdon from the first season’s Murder House, as American Horror Story: Apocalypse crosses over the first season with the third season’s Coven.
Constance Langdon is the grandmother to the anti-christ Michael Langdon, played by Cody Fern, who showed up at the end of the first episode from last week, and also the mother to Evan Peter’s Tate Langdon.
Jessica Lange returns in episode six.
Tonight sees episode two air, with fans hoping for the return of the witches. Watch a preview:

American Horror Story: Apocalypse is the eighth installment of the award-winning anthology series written by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk.
After the nuclear apocalypse, the world’s chosen elite survive in secure Outposts created by the mysterious Cooperative.
