Six new Black Panther: Wakanda Forever images have been released by Marvel which include a look at Winston Duke as M’Baku.
Additional images include Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams who will go on to star in the Disney Plus Ironheart series; Angela Bassett as Queen Ramonda; the Dora Milaje; Michaela Coel as Aneka, the combat instructor for the Dora Milaje in the comics, and Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia.
Recently also saw it learned that the film will be the second-longest in the MCU, only trailing Avengers: Endgame, with a runtime of 2 hours and 41 minutes.
Director Ryan Coogler recently touched upon the death of Chadwick Boseman and what it means for the sequel while talking with Empire Magazine while answering the question: How do you carry on in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds?
“Unfortunately, that question became more and more relevant. Both for humanity as a whole, but also for the people in our production who were coming back for this one,“ Coogler said. “It became super-relevant when we lost our bro.”
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever gets released on Nov. 11.
In the story, the Wakandans fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. The heroes must band together to forge a new path for the kingdom.
