Disney Announces Infinity Vision At CinemaCon For Avengers: Endgame And Doomsday

Disney used its Marvel CinemaCon presentation to announce Infinity Vision, a new certification for premium large format theaters that is meant to tell audiences where they can find the biggest and best screens for major event movies.

According to Disney, Infinity Vision is designed to mark theaters offering the brightest, largest, and most immersive presentation possible for moviegoers.

What Is Infinity Vision?

Infinity Vision is a new Disney-backed certification for premium large format auditoriums.

Disney said the program sets a new benchmark for theatrical presentation and will certify theaters that meet technical standards focused on larger screens, laser projection, and premium audio.

That means Infinity Vision is less about creating a brand-new format and more about giving fans an easy way to identify which theaters are offering the most premium experience available.

Infinity Vision Starts With Avengers: Endgame

Disney also confirmed that Infinity Vision will begin with the September 25, 2026 re-release of Avengers: Endgame.

That gives Marvel fans a reason to head back to theaters before Avengers: Doomsday arrives later in the year.

Marvel previously announced the Endgame re-release date, and Disney now says it will be among the first titles tied to Infinity Vision-certified screens.

Avengers: Doomsday Follows In December

After Endgame returns in September, Infinity Vision will carry over to Avengers: Doomsday, which Disney has set for release on December 18, 2026.

Disney says audiences will be able to seek out Infinity Vision-certified screens to watch the movie on the grandest possible scale.

Release Info

Avengers: Endgame returns to theaters beginning September 25, 2026.

Avengers: Doomsday gets released on December 18, 2026.
