Ahead of Saturday’s Comic-Con At Home panel, Bill & Ted Face The Music gets a new trailer, poster, release date, and batch of images.
Bill & Ted Face The Music moves from an Aug. 21 release date to September 1 where it will be released in theaters that are open and through video-on-demand.

Bill & Ted Face the Music, 3 p.m.: Stars Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter join fellow cast and crew for a virtual panel on the totally radical sequel, moderated by filmmaker Kevin Smith. Joining them are actors Samara Weaving, Brigette Lundy-Paine, and William Sadler; director Dean Parisot; and writers Ed Solomon and Chris Matheson.
Bill & Ted Face the Music is directed by Dean Parisot (Galaxy Quest), from a screenplay by returning franchise writers Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon (Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey) – and produced by Alex Winter, Ed Solomon, Scott Kroopf, Alex Lebovici, Steve Ponce and David Haring.
The film stars Winter, Keanu Reeves, Samara Weaving, Brigette Lundy-Paine, William Sadler, Kristen Schaal, Holland Taylor, Erinn Hayes, Jayma Mays, Anthony Carrigan, Jillian Bell, Kid Cudi, Beck Bennett, Hal Landon Jr., and Amy Stoch.
Synopsis: The stakes are higher than ever for the time-traveling exploits of William “Bill” S. Preston Esq. and Theodore “Ted” Logan. Yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny, the now middle-aged best friends set out on a new adventure when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it. Along the way, they will be helped by their daughters, a new batch of historical figures, and a few music legends — to seek the song that will set their world right and bring harmony in the universe.
