Could the death of Green Arrow be coming up in the mega-event crossover, Crisis On Infinite Earths? Let’s take a look at two potential clues, which also includes one from Stephen Amell on social media.
It’s known that this is the last and final season of Arrow, which will see Stephen Amell say goodbye to the Arrowverse. Yesterday on Twitter saw Amell do just that, as he confirmed he finished his last crossover appearance with Grant Gustin as The Flash.
“Just wrapped my last day working with Grant,” Stephen Amell tweeted. “I’ve learned so much from him over the past 7 years. Always felt like Barry brought the best out in Oliver. If Arrow lit the spark, Flash fanned the flame. Also… I fell asleep during our last scene. Thank you, Mr. Gustin.”

Stephen Amell’s Green Arrow dies in Crisis In Infinite Earths?
We see that Stephen Amell remarks he fell asleep during their last scene, which obviously means his eyes were closed during the scene, which could hint at the death of Green Arrow in the Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover. The comic book features multiple character deaths, notably The Flash and Supergirl, but since this is the Arrowverse version, perhaps Green Arrow is one of the characters not to make it out alive.
Another big potential clue comes from set images and video that have been posted to social media which show off a huge battle with the Anti-Monitor, the villain of Crisis On Infinite Earths. Noticeably absent is – you guessed it – Stephen Amell as Green Arrow. The footage shows the characters from the Arrowverse including The Flash, Supergirl, Batwoman, the Tyler Hoechlin Superman and more, but no Green Arrow. Could the reason be that Arrow has already died?
Of course, another possibility why Stephen Amell and Green Arrow are not a part of the big battle scene with the Anti-Monitor is that Arrow is off on a separate mission, as the scene also doesn’t feature The Monitor, so perhaps the two are off trying to do something to save the universe?
