Could Comic-Con see the big announcement about Green Lantern Corps and the actor set to play possibly Hal Jordan and John Stewart?
It’s currently unknown what DC will announce, but the rumors are flying.
The latest sees it teased that John Stewart will be in Green Lantern Corps and that Warner Bros is currently looking for a young actor in his late 20s to early 30s.
There have also been rumors and speculation that Hal Jordan would be older, possibly in his 40s similar to Ben Affleck as well.
Another rumor is also offering the reason that Hal Jordan didn’t appear as Green Lantern during Man of Steel, Batman vs. Superman and Justice League is due to being trapped in deep space as he lost his ring. Green Lanterns Simon Baz and Jessica Cruz are also rumored for Green Lantern Corps, with it said Cruz receives Hal’s ring.
Consider this all speculation right now as nothing official has been announced, but David S. Goyer is developing the movie, and as we all know, Goyer’s Krypton opening in Man of Steel was pretty epic, and the same goes for his Krypton SYFY series, so I’m assuming (hoping) the Green Lantern Corps movie will be on the same scale or even larger.
A Green Lantern did appear in the Justice League movie, so they are at least officially a part of the DCEU and well aware of Earth, so they just need to be re-introduced in the present day. Note: The Ryan Reynolds Green Lantern movie has nothing to do with the new DC films and universe.

Comic-Con takes place next month with it also rumored there will be announcements and trailers regarding Aquaman, Shazam!, Wonder Woman and Ben Affleck as Batman for the Matt Reeves movie.
Here is art from last year’s Comic-Con featuring members of the Green Lantern Corps and DCEU, so hopefully this year sees more reveals:
