Back in February saw Mark Hamill offer up he wanted to be in Guardians of the Galaxy 3, which saw MCU director James Gunn take notice.
The two actually live near each other, so this week the pair finally got together.
James Gunn posted images on Instagram of himself with Mark Hamill.
“Finally stopped by my neighbor @hamillhimself’s for that cup of coffee we talked about on twitter months ago. And some bbq. And cornbread. And cobbler. And OKAY IT’S TRUE I ATE THE HAMILL’S OUT OF HOUSE AND HOME BACK OFF. Honestly, though he’s an amazing guy and I am really grateful to him and the whole Hamill clan for a great Sunday,” Gunn said. “One more shot of me and @hamillhimself from our hang this weekend. No, my hair isn’t red. I don’t know why it sometimes looks like that in the sun. Hope you all are having a great week.”

Any ideas who Mark Hamill could play in Guardians of the Galaxy 3? I previously put forth The Collector, but Wendell Vaughn Quasar’s dad might not also be a bad choice?
