Take a look at the new Trident used for the Aquaman movie!
Jason Momoa posted an image on Instagram noting, “Finishing my edit on season 3 frontier with my @captainriff @on_the_roam Soooooo stoked. In between pick up shots on aquaman. BOOM. Almost done with both. It’s gonna be a good year aloha j.”
Taking a close look at the Aquaman image reveals a gold-colored Trident at the left, which could be the Trident used by Atlan, aka the Dead King of Atlantis.
We also see that they are still working on the Aquaman movie, which follows recent news of test screenings and director James Wan offering the reason the Aquaman trailer hasn’t been released is because footage isn’t ready.
Hopefully the Aquaman trailer gets released soon!
The film has a December 21, 2018 release starring Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry, Amber Heard as Mera, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Patrick Wilson as Orm the Ocean Master, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, with Temuera Morrison as Thomas Curry, Nicole Kidman is playing Queen Atlanna, and Dolph Ludgren is King Nereus.
