It’s learned Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 will film this May in NYC.
A production sheet has hit the net stating that Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 begins production on May 19.
The listing offers that:
“Tom Holland will reprise his role as Peter Parker in the sequel. In the first film, Parker was a junior in high school who was trying to adjust to regular Brooklyn life after his adventures with the Avengers. The next film’s story will pick up after the events of Avengers: Infinity War.”
It’s also revealed that Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 will film May – September in New York, London, Prague and Venice for its July 5, 2019 release date.
Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 follows The Avengers 4 and marks the first MCU movie as part of the Marvel Phase 4 plans, which are said to be a lot different than anything that has come before.
Tom Holland returns this month in Avengers: Infinity War which has an April 27 release.
Spider-Man: Homecoming debuted last Summer and brought in over $880 million worldwide.
Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 is directed by Jon Watts.
