With Ben Affleck having stepped away from directing The Batman movie, the current fate of the DCEU Deathstroke is unknown as director Matt Reeves is now on board and bringing in a new script.
Joe Manganiello was set to play Deathstroke in Ben Affleck’s Batman movie and thought to appear in November’s Justice League, but that all seems up in the air right now.
Interestingly enough, last night on Twitter saw Joe Manganiello post an image of himself wearing a “Legion of Doom” t-shirt where fans point out it appears to be in the same font as the Justice League movie logo.

We have to speculate that Joe Manganiello knew what he was doing by both wearing the Justice League Doom t-shirt and posting it on Twitter, as certainly the actor would know it would get a reaction.
It’s unknown if Joe Manganiello is trying to hint at Deathstroke in the Justice League movie, The Batman film or even a solo Legion of Doom flick.
Of course, it could always be Joe Manganiello just having a little fun.
Legion of Doom is the supervillain equivalent of the Justice League, a team made up of bad guys. There was actually rumor and speculation that Joe Manganiello’s Justice League scenes involved Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor, so who knows what is in the works.
We’ll find out in a little over a month!
Justice League has a November 17, 2017 release directed by Zack Snyder, with the story by Chris Terrio and Zack Snyder, the screenplay by Chris Terrio and Joss Whedon, and stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon and Willem Dafoe an Atlantean, Nuidis Vulko.
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
