It’s looking likely that the Thor: Ragnarok post-credit scene will tie into The Avengers: Infinity War.
If you have seen the leaked Avengers: Infinity War trailer, the footage actually starts off with the Guardians of the Galaxy meeting Thor, which may have something to do with what happens in Thor: Ragnarok.
Collider caught up with The Avengers: Infinity War director Joe Russo in the following video where Russo is asked if the Thor: Ragnarok post-credit scene involves The Avengers: Infinity War.
“I can’t say,” Joe Russo says. “I will say this though. It’s a blast hanging out with [Thor: Ragnarok director] Taikia [Waititi]. That guy’s awesome. It came down to… He’s a crazy talented filmaker, a very unique human being, and we are shooting very close to each other…”
Interetingly enough, when Collider asks the question, check out Marvel’s PR guy’s reaction in the back.
Joe Russo also lets it be known that The Avengers: Infinity War will probably be the longest movie, possibly two-and-a-half hours or more in length, and the same might happen with Avengers 4.
Russo also offers the Black Panther movie is awesome.
