At the San Diego Comic-Con for the premiere of Harley Quinn and Batman, it was announced plans are underway for the next animated movies with Batman: Gotham by Gaslight, Suicide Squad: Hell To Pay and Death of Superman animated films.
Batman: Gotham by Gaslight is up first and is the DC Comics Elseworlds tale of Batman vs. Jack the Ripper.
Suicide Squad: Hell To Pay follows and marks the first time the Squad is featured in the DC animated movies continuity and will be an original story.
The Death of Superman will be released in 2018 and be a two-parter that promises to feature more from the comic book storyline of Superman battling Doomsday.
Reign of the Supermen will be Part 2, coming out in 2019, and will feature the replacement characters for Superman including Superboy, Cyborg Superman, Steel and the Last Son Of Krypton, as well as the return of Superman.
Batman and Harley Quinn gets released on August 29th and will be screened for one night in theaters on August 14th.
