Wonder Woman is now estimated to have upwards of a whopping $175 million global opening!

Just a month or so ago saw estimates state Wonder Woman would open to only around $55 million in the U.S., but with Wonder Woman currently kicking the crap out of Rotten Tomaotes, it’s though the domestic box office may even be higher.

The latest comes from Deadline who offers the worldwide box office gross for Wonder Woman could be north of $175 million, with it suggested the U.S. draw could be $65M-$75M or as high as $90M.

As noted, if Wonder Woman holds strong at Rotten Tomatoes, it will be the first DC movie since The Dark Knight Rises to have at least an 87% rating.

Fandango also reports Wonder Woman is the most anticipated movie of the Summer – even beating out Marvel and Sony’s Spider-Man: Homecoming – and that 92% of all ticket buyers are excited to see a female superhero movie, with still another 80% stating Wonder Woman was the best thing to come out of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

It’s also been reported that Warner Bros is so pleased with Wonder Woman that a sequel is currently in development, with Patty Jenkins recently stating she would like to direct.

“Wonder Woman” has a June 2, 2017 release directed by Patty Jenkins starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Connie Nielsen, David Thewlis, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya, Ewen Bremner, and Saïd Taghmaoui .
