Yesterday saw the rumor that Brad Pitt could possibly play Cable in Deadpool 2.
Now apparent Brad Pitt as Cable concept art (or fan art) has hit the net.

Regarding the rumor, according to Collider there was interest from both FOX Studios and Brad Pitt in the Cable role, but it’s said Brad Pitt has decided to move on. It’s mentioned there is still is a possibility Brad Pitt could play Cable as the casting is currently in flux, but it sounds like a long shot.
It’s also been said that Michael Shannon is the current frontrunner to play Cable.
Deadpool 2 is currently in development with David Leitch as director and stars Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, with Zazie Beetz as Domino.
