We may now know why the Russo brothers posted and then deleted that Avengers: Infinity War set location image as it may have given away where they were filming.
That's right, according to Atlanta Filming on Twitter, The Avengers: Infinity War actually started filming weeks ago.
"I think I forgot to post this, but [Avengers: Infinity War] started filming two weeks ago," the tweet reads, which the account oddly enough deleted.
A second tweet was posted as Atlanta Filming was questioned if The Avengers: Ininfity War was really filming.
"I took photos of cast members last week. Just really far, sh-tty photos," the account replied.
The Atlanta Filming Twitter account is run by a local photagrapher who regularly posts set images from movies filming in the Atlanta, Georgia area. None of the The Avengers: Infinity Wars set images they reported to have taken have surfaced online as of yet.
The Avengers: Infinity War has a May 4, 2018 release directed by Anthony and Joe Russo starring Josh Brolin as Thanos.
