The Marvel and Netflix Defenders event mini-series has officially began filming, and it is also learned the Defenders will feature Daredevil‘s Karen Page and Luke Cage‘s Misty Knight.
Marvel released a short Defenders teaser announcing that Deborah Ann Woll will be returning as Karen Page and that Simone Missick will be back as Misty Knight.
In additon, a user on Reddit snapped the following pic of Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones as filming on Defenders has begun with the working title “Group Therapy.”
Synopsis:
“Marvel’s The Defenders” follows Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist. A quartet of singular heroes with one common goal – to save New York City. This is the story of four solitary figures, burdened with their own personal challenges, who realize they just might be stronger when teamed together.
“Defenders” will premiere on Netflix in 2017 with 8 episodes.
