“Shazam!” Casts “IT” Movie’s Jack Dylan Grazer

The Shazam! cast expands with the addition of IT movie’s Jack Dylan Grazer.

Deadline reports the 14-year-old actor will play Freddy, Billy Batson’s best friend and the only person who knows the truth about Shazam.

Also onboard Shazam! is Zachary Levi in the titular role and Asher Angel, who is playing Billy Batson, the teen who is able to transform into an adult superhero by uttering the phrase “Shazam!”

Mark Strong is also rumored for the villain role of Dr. Thaddeus Sivana, and Grace Fulton is also rumored for a role.

Shazam! has an April 2019 release directed by David F. Sandberg.
