Mark Millar seems to be on the offensive as of late.
Following Mark Millar stating he thinks Thanos won’t be any good in The Avengers: Infinity War, now the creator of Kick-Ass and Kingsman tweets out that the deal is good for Disney but bad for Fox, though Millar does say he hopes everything works out while at the same time stating he is not really looking forward to an Avengers and X-Men crossover.
Millar also echoes Logan director James Mangold’s sentiments that the Fox and Disney merger might see less movies made.
Mark Millar is also known for writing for Marvel Comics: The Avengers, Civil War and Old Man Logan, and he recently signed a deal to develop his own comic book properties at Netflix.

I think I’m also alone in not really caring about seeing all the franchises crossing over. Too many characters just becomes impenetrable to a mainstream audience. Marvel’s simplicity has been a great strength.

A final thought: If Marvel had X-Men & FF 5 years ago would they have made Guardians or Ant-Man? Disney will only make specific number per year. I hope the audience doesn’t lose more unique projects now.
