Dwayne Johnson Rumored For Terminator 5; Prequel To Feature Arnold As Human?

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:8704:]]With news of Terminator 5 kicking into gear, rumors surface of a script that is said to feature Dwayne Johnson as the killer robot with Arnold Schwarzenegger as a good-guy human.

An Examiner article has it from a source that the movie may be set prior to the 1984-classic in that it will feature a Terminator, played by Dwayne Johnson, going back to the time of Sarah Connor’s parents, with Arnold Schwarzenegger playing a human that protects the family.

So Terminator 5 would actually be a prequel, and from the description, it could very well be a take on the original movie.

Could Arnold be from the future? Furthermore, is Arnold now going to be the blood-relative of John?

Speculation aside, the report explains Schwarzenegger being the 1984 Terminator by Skynet basing it on the 1940s or 1950s Arnold that helped save the Connor family.

Incredibly, Schwarzenegger may not play the role of a machine in the next film, but a potentially heroic human figure in or close to the Connor family. One theory is that Schwarzenegger’s remarkable ability to protect the Connor family in the 1940s or 1950s with antiquated weaponry by today’s standards ultimately inspired the machines to develop a terminator in his likeness that was eventually sent to 1984 when Sarah Connor was first targeted for termination.

The only caveat is that Arnold recently said he will be back starring as the Terminator.
