Star Wars: The Force Awakens Trailer #3

Disney has probably already broken even on merchandise sales for Star Wars: The Force Awakens alone, so even more products being launched shouldn’t come as much of a surprise with the latest being ice cream flavors.

EW.com revaaled Ample Hills Creamery, in conjunction with Disney, has unveiled two limited edition Star Wars flavors: The Dark Side (ultra-dark chocolate ice cream with espresso fudge brownies, cocoa crispies, and white chocolate pearls) and The Light Side (bright marshmallow ice cream with homemade crispie clusters, as well as a smattering of handmade cocoa crispies).

“As a sci-fi writer in my past professional life, and a longtime Star Wars fan, this is a dream collaboration. And to be able to work with Lucasfilm and Disney Consumer Products to create new ice cream flavors that represent the two sides of The Force… that might just be the coolest thing we’ve ever done,” Brian Smith, who co-owns Ample Hills Creamery with his wife, Jackie Cuscuna, said in a statement.

Fans can purchase the Star Wars: The Force Awakens ice cream at AmpleHills.com, which is being sold in four packs of “collectible, reusable plastic pint containers.”

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” has a December 18, 2015 release directed by J.J. Abrams from a screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan and Abrams. Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams, and Bryan Burk are producing, and John Williams returns as the composer.

Actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Lupita Nyong’o and Gwendoline Christie will join the original stars of the saga, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker in the new film.
