J.J. Abrams Superman Flyby Script Lands Online

J.J. Abrams Superman Flyby Script Lands Online

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:5366:]]A new script that hasn’t been previously released for the J.J. Abrams defunct “Superman Flyby” has landed online.

This reveal comes on top of the “Superman Lives” script from yesterday.

SupermanHomePage got their hands on this again and says that this isn’t the 2002 script that has been online for quite a while, but something new.

This new script features an update on the same story, which sees Clark revealed as Superman to the world where a battle with Kryptonians causes his death and subsequent resurrection.

Chrisopher Reeve was to be a consultant on the film, with numerous actors auditioning for the role of Superman including Paul Walker, Ashton Kutcher, Brendan Fraser and Matthew Bomer. Brett Ratner was originally attached to direct and then McG came onboard with the current Man of Steel, Henry Cavill, up for the role.

Eventually McG would depart with Bryan Singer coming onboard with the movie now named Superman Returns starring Brandon Routh and a different storyline.

You can download the J.J. Abrams “Superman Flyby” script here (pdf).

J.J. Abrams has Star Trek Into Darkness coming out this may and was recently named as the director on Star Wars Episode VII.
