With the Guardians of the Galaxy looking to lend a hand in The Avengers: Infinity War, itās learned James Gunn will be keeping a close eye on his Guardians.
IGN caught up with Zoe Saldana, who plays Gamora, in which she lets it be known James Gunn is on board The Avengers: Infinity War as a producer.
āIām curious how they are going to portray us. The good thing that keeps me relaxed is that these directors [Joe and Anthony Russo] are good. They have a really good pedigree. [I liked] their last movie. I liked their choices, and everybody that worked for them really had a great experience, and James Gunn is a producer on [The Avengers: Infinity War] so I know that he wonāt ever let the integrity of what heās created for the Guardians ever be compromised. So Iām at ease. Plus, I love all the Marvel producers. They are all great. They all want us to win.āĀ Ā
Saldana also jokes that since the Guardians are cosmic and the Avengers are earth-bound characters, that they have made a ālot of jokes toward the Avengers.ā
āThose earthlings, butā¦ā Saldana joked. āWe are going to do it as a favor to Thor [laughter].āĀ
Guardians of the Galaxy 2 hits May 5th.
The Avengers: Infinity War has a May 4, 2018 release starring Josh Brolin as Thanos. Marvel Studios has yet to officially announce the cast, but the following are thought/confirmed to be a part of the movie: Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Cobie Smulders, Samuel L.
