Guardians of the Galaxy 3: James Gunn Having Intense Conversations About Gamora

James Gunn has signed back on to write and direct Guardians of the Galaxy 3 in addition to being the “Living Tribunal” of the Marvel COSMIC Universe (Feige is the “One-Above-All”).

While speaking with USA Today about Guardians of the Galaxy 2, James Gunn offers he is having some pretty deep discussions with Zoe Saldana, who plays Gamora, about having a big role in Guardians of the Galaxy 3 .

James Gunn has already started writing Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 to complete his trilogy, discussing the story with Pratt and having “some pretty intense conversations” with Saldana about a significant role in the threequel.

Regarding the Marvel COSMIC movies, which Gunn and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige are referring to as the Marvel COSMIC Universe, James Gunn recently said he has ideas for ten more years of COSMIC movies and beyond.

Likewise, Feige hinted at the Marvel COSMIC movies being a big part of the MCU going forward with Marvel’s Phase 4 plans.

James Gunn also offered Guardians of the Galaxy 3 would be the last iteration of the current team, with Guardians of the Galaxy 4 having a new team.

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 opens on Thursday with advanced screenings.
