Following a stint on Arrow, now Dolph Lundgren has joined the DCEU for James Wan’s Aquaman.
THR reports Dolph Lundgren will play King Nereus, described as: “King Nereus of the aquatic kingdom of Xebel, who claims Mera as his own and wants to kill Aquaman.”
Aquaman has a December 21, 2018 release also starring Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Amber Heard as Mera, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Patrick Wilson as Orm the Ocean Master, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, with Temuera Morrison as Aquaman’s father, Thomas Curry, and Nicole Kidman is playing the mother to Aquaman, Queen Atlanna.
James Wan is due to begin filming Aquaman next month in Australia.
