[[wysiwyg_imageupload:5072:]]Our DC Entertainment source who has provided us a batch of info on the upcoming Justice League movie as well as the Man of Steel, and the Batman reboot 2016 movie, and more, provided us the following tidbits.
Previously it’s been said that Darkseid will be the villain in the movie with the plot said to follow the Justice League of America comic books, #183-185, where Apokolips tries to take Earth’s place.
Our source provided us the following:
• Apokolips and New Genesis (which has a brief mention) are located in another dimension to our universe.
• Batman is then mentioned with him explaining their existence based on the 11th dimensional M-Theory.
• We’re also told the Mother Box will be used as a means of travelling between dimensions.
In the comic books, both Apokolips and New Genesis are located in a parallel dimension to Earth with the only way to access them being through a boom tube, which a Mother Box, an enigmatic sentient computer of sorts, is capable of creating.
M-Theory is theoretical physics, which I’m assuming the movie won’t delve too deeply into, but we see Batman knowledgeable about it and using it to explain the possibility of other dimensions.
Again in the comic books, the Mother Box was created on Apokolips using an advanced energy source known as Element X that grants the user a vast array of abilities, one of which is teleportation.
