Jennifer Lawrence Wants Guardians of the Galaxy: Done With X-Men

Sounds like we won’t be seeing Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique in whatever kind of X-Men reboot Fox Studios is planning.

While promoting her latest movie, Passengers, which also stars Chris Pratt, Jennifer Lawrence is asked if she would like Mystique in Guardians of the Galaxy.

“Oh, my God, I would love to! I actually don’t even know…  I would choose that over doing another X-Men movie, maybe [laughter],” Jennifer Lawrence says.

Jennifer Lawrence then continues with mention of what sounds like she won’t be in any more of the Fox Studios X-Men films.

“I won’t be Mystique in the X-Men movies, but I would love to be Mystique in Guardians of the Galaxy. I wonder if I can do that?” Lawrence said.

Well, the answer to Jennifer Lawrence’s question is no as Marvel Studios owns Guardians of the Galaxy, which is completely separate from the Fox Studios X-Men movies.  

However, I wouldn’t have a problem with Jennifer Lawrence playing a completely new Marvel Studios character. If she is really done with Fox’s X-Men, she’s too good of an actress to let go of, especially if she is still interested in doing more Marvel movies.

Any ideas who she could play in the MCU?
