There are already tons of crazy rumors and speculation about The Avengers 4, ranging from Loki impersonating Banner in Infinity War to Kang the Conqueror showing in in Avengers 4! Check out that fan poster below!
Marvel Studios and the Russo brothers also have yet to reveal the official The Avengers 4 title. Zoe Saldana accidently leaked it might have been âInfinity Gauntlet,â which actually fits with a batch of rumors that leaked following the release of Infinity War. However, itâs been said Marvel decided to scrap it because of the leak.
Likewise, I was told the Avengers 4 title is âEndgameâ (or âEnd Gameâ) by a source close to Marvel Studios prior to even the premiere of Infinity War. Then as we all watched Infinity War, Doctor Strange dropped the title in the movie! Similar to the leak of âInfinity Gauntlet,â now it seems as if Marvel may have also dropped âEndgameâ as the Avengers 4 title as well.
As noted in the posters below, Captain Marvel is also featured front and center, but her role remains a mystery. Rumors have actually said she is only involved in the filmâs third act, with some fans guessing she might be the one to wield the Infinity Gauntlet and make things right. At the same time, some fans donât like that idea because is would basically seem to be a dues ex machina, and in addition, having Captain Marvel fix everything doesnât seem right as she wasnât a part of the first MCU movies, which includes Infinity War.
So who will wield the Infinity Gauntlet (assuming that is how they fix things?) We have to rule out some of the Assemblers as ordinary people canât use the Infinity Stones. Of the six originals, that would rule out Tony Stark, Black Widow and Hawkeye, leaving either Captain America, Thor or Hulk to do the deed! A rumor actually has it that Hulk attempts to use the Infinity Gauntlet, but in the process it explodes and blows his arm away! That would leave either Cap or Thor!
