Dan Akroyd tweeted and then deleted confirmation he will be in the all-female Ghostbusters reboot.
Aykroyd tweeted the following earlier today, but deleted the tweet about two hour later.
The tweet reveals Dan Aykroyd will have a scene with Kristen Wiig.
“On GB set shooting my scene with funny beatufil Kristen Wiig,” the deleted tweet reads. “Lady GB’s are adorable, hilarious and bad ass. Exhilarating!”
It’s currently not known what character Aykroyd is playing, but it’s speculated to be some sort of “pass the torch” role.
