The Flash: Savitar Future Prophecy Unveiled

The Flash: Savitar Future Prophecy Unveiled

Tonight’s episode of The Flash revealed that Savitar was using Julian/ Alchemy as a conduit, so Team Flash put a contraption together to talk with the god of speed.

As Savitar communicated through Julian it quickly became apparent that Savitar knew Barry, The Flash and the rest of Team Flash. Savitar told them he knows their fears and weaknesses: “I know you better than you know yourselves. I know your destinies.”

Savitar then offered up the following prophecy: “One shall betray you, one shall fall, one will suffer a fate far worse than death. This is the knowledge I have for you… about your everlasting damnation.”

Barry asks Savitar who he is with Savitar replying: “I am the future Flash.”

Or did Savitar respond with: “I am the future, Flash.”

The former would mean he is The Flash (Barry) from the future, while the latter would mean he would be telling Barry he is the future.

Which is it?

Savitar also says he wants everything that The Flash took from him back.

“You did this to me. You trapped me in eternity. Your future self. You did this to me. Barry. And now the age of my revenge rises. My freedom is at hand. You will feel my wrath. The wrath of Savitar!”

Check out the clip below.

Regarding Savitar’s prophecy, it would seem the one who shall fall is Iris, as Barry witnessed her death at the hands of Savitar when he was flung into the future. The betrayer could easily be Wells, as he has done it before. The fate worse than death could either have to do with Cisco, Caitlin or Wally, as they are all metahumans and new to their powers, or it could very well pertain to Barry himself — as the fate worse than death is Barry becoming Savitar himself.

“The Flash” airs Tuesdays at 8pm ET on The CW starring Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash, Candice Patton as Iris West, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon, Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West, Tom Cavanagh as Dr. Harrison Wells and Jesse L. Martin plays Joe West.
