Will Jared Leto play the Joker again?
While Jared Leto has seemingly teased a return to the Joker role, it’s still unclear if Jared Leto – or the Joker for that matter – will return to the DCEU.
ET Canada caught up with Jared Leto and asked about Joker, with Leto playing rather coy about a return.
“You know talking about Joker is like talking about Fight Club. The first rule [you do not talk about Fight Club]: unless you want to gargle your testicles, it’s probably better to leave it,” Leto joked. “He’s liable to jump out of the cupboard and just start having fun.”
It did seem as if Jared Leto was previously teasing a return to the Joker role for the Ben Affleck Batman movie, but since Affleck has departed directing and Matt Reeves is rewriting the script and now directing, Leto teasing Joker has gone silent.
Jared Leto could always return in Suicide Squad 2, which is in the works, or even the Margot Robbie Gotham City Sirens movie.
Update: A Joker vs Harley Quinn movie is rumored.
