Three More Marvel Spider-Man Tom Holland Movies In The Works

Three more Spider-Man movies starring Tom Holland at Marvel are in the works as confirmed by producer Amy Pascal.

With tickets for No Way Home going on sale today, Pascal spoke with Fandango and shared the news.

“This is not the last movie that we are going to make with Marvel — [this is not] the last Spider-Man movie,” said Pascal. “We are getting ready to make the next Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland and Marvel. We’re thinking of this as three films, and now we’re going to go onto the next three. This is not the last of our MCU movies…Yes, Marvel and Sony are going to keep going together as partners.”

Tom Holland back for more Spider-Man with Marvel

Sony owns the film rights to Spider-Man, but following the releases of the Amazing Spider-Man films, Sony and Disney came to a mutual deal where Spider-Man came to the MCU as Tom Holland was cast as Peter Parker and debuted back in 2016 in Captain America: Civil War.

Holland recently tackled his future as Spidey where Amy Pascal said she always wants him as Spider-Man, but the 25-year-old actor said he couldn’t see himself playing the Marvel character at the age of 30.

“Maybe it is time for me to move on. Maybe what’s best for Spider-Man is that they do a Miles Morales film,” Holland told GQ. “I have to take Peter Parker into account as well, because he is an important part of my life. [But also] if I’m playing Spider-Man after I’m 30, I’ve done something wrong.”

Well, it turns out Holland will likely be playing Spider-man after thirty-years-old, as the Spider-Man movies have been getting released every two years, so that would put Holland at around the age of 31-32 when Spider-Man 6 (wow!) is released.

Spider-Man: No Way Home gets released Dec. 17. Check out new IMAX art, and promos for the flick below.
