MARVEL Cosmic Invasion has its official launch date, and it’s bringing two final powerhouses with it.
Marvel revealed that Iron Man and Phoenix will join the 15-hero roster when the game drops on December 1, 2025, across all platforms.

Final Two Characters Revealed
The announcement came alongside a brand-new gameplay trailer showing off both characters in action.
- Phoenix enters the fight wielding massive telekinetic powers and her signature fiery aura. The former Marvel Girl brings the heat to Annihilus and his insectoid forces, using wide-area attacks and psychic blasts to clear the screen.
- Invincible Iron Man, suited up in his iconic red-and-gold armor, unleashes high-tech punishment using repulsors, missiles, and the Iron Cannon. Expect a fast, heavy-hitting playstyle perfect for crowd control and ranged combos.

Players can choose two characters per stage and swap between them using the “Cosmic Swap” tag mechanic to create unique combos and team-ups.
Battle Across the Galaxy
MARVEL Cosmic Invasion pits this all-star team against Annihilus and the deadly Annihilation Wave in a pixel-art, side-scrolling beat ’em up inspired by classic arcade games. From the streets of New York City to the depths of the Negative Zone, you’ll fight through galactic warzones to stop Annihilus’ campaign of destruction.
The game supports both local and online multiplayer with drop-in/drop-out functionality and features a mix of combat, team strategy, and comic-accurate settings.
