And that’s a wrap for Deadpool 3 which sees both Ryan Reynolds and Dogpool, the canine multiverse version of the Merc With a Mouth, aka the Merc with a bark, responding on social media.
“The suit hides the blood. Also sweat… But today, with Deadpool wrapping, it’s mostly tears. A giant and forever thanks to the cast and crew of our film who battled wind, rain, strikes and @thehughjackman… all under the stalwart leadership of @slevydirect,” posted Reynolds on Instagram.
Reynolds added, “I got to make a movie with my closest pals and that doesn’t happen very often. See ya July 26th…”

Dogpool wraps
Dogpool posted on his Instagram thanking director Shawn Levy, Hugh Jackman and the crew, and reveals he left someone special a little extra something, who of course has to be Ryan Reynolds!
“That’s a wrap on my first movie! We worked our pants off but it was worth it. Everyone on set was the utmost professional, especially Shawn Levy and Hugh Jackman. And a super-hero big bow-wow-WOW to the entire crew. No matter the challenge, you rose to the task and made it look easy,” states the post.
Dogpool adds, “I wouldn’t change a thing. Except maybe one person who was a little extra to deal with. But don’t worry, I’ve forgiven him. I even left him a very special warm, personal gift in his trailer.”
Deadpool 3 trailer likely at Super Bowl LVIII
The untitled Deadpool 3 has a July 26, 2024 release date. The first Deadpool 3 trailer is expected next month at Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday, Feb. 11.
Also starring in the movie includes Emma Corrin who is said to be playing the villain; Leslie Uggams is back as Blind Al; Morena Baccarin as Vanessa; Rob Delaney as Peter; Stefan Kapicic as Colossus; Karan Soni as Dopinder; Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and Shioli Kutsuna as Yukio.
A synopsis teases that our lovable and annoying chatter box, Deadpool, is joined by Wolverine as both characters step into the MCU for the first time.
Rumors also offer the Merc With A Mouth travels through the Fox Marvel Multiverse leading to encounters with Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, the X-Men, and others.
