Pedro Pascal Praises ‘Controversial’ Rachel Zegler as ‘Icon’

Following Snow White bombing big time at the box office, Marvel actor Pedro Pascal shows support for Rachel Zegler on social media.

Zegler’s Snow White has massively bombed where the flick is looking like a potential loss for Disney of $300 million. It also doesn’t help that both the critics and fans don’t like the film, with Rotten Tomatoes scores of 40% and 74%.

On Sunday, Pascal showed his support for the 23-year-old actress, apparently weighing in on all the controversy. Pascal, who is also known for HBO’s The Last of Us and will be starring in this summer’s Fantastic Four from Marvel, posted a photo, tagged Zegler, and captioned it “Icon” on his Instagram Story.

Rachel Zegler controversy

The controversy surrounding Rachel Zegler has to do with the actress’ reaction to the original Snow White, as well as how she promoted the Disney film.

She has said she didn’t like the original, that it scared her as a kid, and that Prince Charming is a stalker, calling the love story “weird.”

While promoting the trailer, Zegler received heat for promoting “free Palestine.” A recent report revealed that a Disney exec was forced to fly to NYC to tell Zegler to get her social media under control. The fans of Zegler then found the Disney producer’s son on social media and attacked his father. The son defended his father and blamed Zegler’s behavior for Snow White‘s big flop.

Zegler also seemingly threatened President Donald Trump and his supporters.
