The reveal trailer (watch below) and accompanying interview on StarWars.com highlight how familiar Star Wars locales like Jakku — including the Graveyard of Giants with its downed Star Destroyer and AT-AT wrecks — have been transformed into dynamic racing environments.

The game is being developed by Fuse Games in partnership with Lucasfilm Games, combining classic racing DNA from the franchise’s past with new mechanics and characters like the lone racer Shade, who seeks glory and revenge on the circuit.

The trailer and article emphasize that Galactic Racer will offer varied racing experiences across multiple planets and craft types, including skim speeders and landspeeders, each with unique handling and strategic choices for players.

The first trailer also teases the return of fan-favorite (and notorious) racer Sebulba, suggesting deeper connections to the broader Star Wars racing legacy.
