Clayface Teaser Trailer Shows Off First Footage

Clayface Teaser Trailer Shows Off First Footage

DC Studios has released the first teaser trailer for Clayface, following the recent teaser images and first poster for the upcoming horror thriller centered on the Gotham City villain.

The footage leans hard into the horror angle and continues selling this as something very different from the usual comic book movie.

Warner Bros. has the film set for theaters and IMAX on October 23, 2026 in North America, with international rollout beginning October 21.

DC goes full horror with Clayface

The official logline says Clayface tells the story of one man’s horrifying descent from rising Hollywood star to revenge-filled monster.

DC describes the movie as exploring the loss of identity and humanity, corrosive love, and the dark underbelly of scientific ambition.

That lines up with everything shown so far. The teaser images, the first poster, and now the trailer all point to Clayface being a body-horror thriller first and a comic book movie second.

That also fits with what has been reported about the CinemaCon footage, which has been described as unsettling, grotesque, and transformation-heavy.
