Plot Details Revealed

The live-action Gundam movie follows rival mech pilots on opposite sides of a decades-long war between Earth and its former space colonies.

As loyalties begin to shift and a bigger threat emerges, the two are pulled into a race across the stars that could decide the fate of humanity.

That setup gives the movie a more personal angle while keeping the larger war at the center of the story.

Other producers include Cale Boyter, Ali Mendes, Sydney Sweeney, Noah Centineo, and Enzo Marc. Executive producers are Matthew Jenkins, Makoto Asanuma, and Naohiro Ogata.

The movie is being produced by Legendary Pictures in partnership with Bandai Namco Filmworks.
