Disney used its CinemaCon presentation on Thursday to debut the final trailer for The Mandalorian & Grogu, giving theater owners and fans one more look at the first big-screen Star Wars movie built around Din Djarin and Grogu.
Advance tickets are going on sale Friday, April 17, at 6:00 a.m. PT.
Lucasfilm showed off 15 minutes from the film, with director Jon Favreau taking to the stage. Watch the final trailer below.
The Mandalorian & Grogu gets one last big push at CinemaCon
The new footage leans into the father-and-son dynamic at the center of the movie, with one line in particular standing out: “The old protect the young and then the young protect the old.”
Disney also attached the official synopsis to the trailer rollout: The evil Empire has fallen, and Imperial warlords remain scattered throughout the galaxy. As the fledgling New Republic works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for, they have enlisted the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his young apprentice Grogu.

What the trailer sets up
The final trailer opens with Grogu meditating in a forest while Sigourney Weaver’s Colonel Ward introduces the mission.
Tthe film sends Din and Grogu after Imperial war criminals during the New Republic era, while also teasing bounty hunters, Anzellans, and the Hutt Twins.

The Mandalorian & Grogu opens only in theaters and IMAX on May 22, 2026.
