HBO Reveals First Look At New Harry Potter Series Ahead Of Trailer Release

HBO has released the first official look at its new Harry Potter series ahead of the trailer dropping Wednesday.

The image features the young wizard from behind, wearing a large Gryffindor-colored cloak with “Potter” and the number 7 on the back while walking through a snowy crowd toward what looks like a Hogwarts set piece.

HBO kept the tease simple and posted just two words on social media: “Tomorrow ⚡️”

First look teases the new Harry Potter series

The image doesn’t show the character’s face, but it’s the first real glimpse at the tone and visual style HBO is going for with the series.

The snowy setting, banners, and crowd all point to Hogwarts, while the cloak puts the focus squarely on Harry Potter as the face of the reboot.

HBO appears to be using the image to build hype ahead of Wednesday’s trailer reveal, which should offer fans their first real footage from the series.
