A new rumor claiming a massive Star Wars and Marvel crossover comic book was in development has officially been shot down.
According to THR, chatter spread online that a Star Wars/Marvel/Avengers crossover was in the works, supposedly to be written by Mark Millar, who is known for Marvel’s Civil War, Old Man Logan, and more.
However, apparently, it turns out that none of it is real.

Star Wars / Marvel / Avengers Crossover Rumor Debunked
The rumor claimed Marvel and Lucasfilm were teaming up for a crossover event featuring characters from the Star Wars galaxy colliding with Earth’s Mightiest Heroes from The Avengers. The supposed creative force behind it? Mark Millar.
That alone was enough to set the internet on fire.
Millar is known for big, high-concept stories like Civil War and The Ultimates, so fans quickly imagined lightsabers clashing with vibranium shields. But according to The Hollywood Reporter, the rumor simply isn’t true.
There is no crossover comic in development:
And in another example of the Internet being stupid, a rumour spread about a Star Wars/Marvel/Avengers cross over comic book to be written by love him or hate him author Mark Millar. It was like Alderaan exploded all over again.
In any case, we’re hearing it’s not true, so have some blue milk and cookies.

What Mark Millar Has Been Working On
As for what Mark Millar has actually been up to, the answer is simple: he’s swamped.
Via his latest e-mail newsletters, Millar recently closed the Kickstarter for his new creator-owned series Conquered, confirming there’s currently no digital or retail version available outside backers, with a second volume planned for the summer.
At the same time, he’s stepped away from personally running his social media accounts to focus on work, revealing that multiple live-action projects are moving into pre-production, with at least two gearing up and a third close behind.
On the comics side, he continues work on titles like Nemesis Forever and Psychic Sam Volume 2, while overseeing fulfillment of Conquered hardbacks, paperbacks, and magazine editions.
