Zack Snyder potentially teases something big as he marked a new milestone on Instagram by posting another image of Henry Cavill as Superman, thanking fans for helping him reach 500,000 followers in just over two months.
“Here’s to Many More Stories Together”
Snyder wrote: “Today marks a little milestone on this wild Instagram journey—500k followers in just over two months! I just want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who’s joined along the way. For me, these characters are a kind of modern mythology, and I put a ton of reverence and respect into bringing them to life. Seeing that resonate with so many of you means the world. Here’s to many more stories together!”
It’s yet another carefully timed drop following months of teases from Snyder—everything from the Rorschach polaroid to Wonder Woman’s original Crimean War photo to multiple Batman-related images. Fans have pointed out that Snyder hasn’t posted this many DC-related shots since the run-up to Zack Snyder’s Justice League.
SnyderVerse Momentum Grows After Netflix Wins WBD Bid
The new Superman image arrives at the same moment industry talk around a SnyderVerse revival is heating up again. Our insiders maintain that the franchise “is back in play.”
Snyder has already spent the last several years building major franchises at Netflix, giving the streamer its own tentpole worlds with Rebel Moon and Army of the Dead.
Insiders speculate that Netflix’s need for premium IP—and its interest in aggressive theatrical-plus-streaming strategies—could reopen the door for Snyder to return to DC in some form, either through continuation, one-offs, or a fresh adaptation like The Dark Knight Returns.

Snyder Keeps Fueling the Conversation
Snyder didn’t mention DC or Superman directly, but he didn’t have to.
Posting Cavill’s Superman while saying “Here’s to many more stories together” only adds to the mounting speculation about what comes next under Netflix’s ownership, and whether Snyder’s version of these characters could live again.
The tease also comes after new questions about Gunn’s DCU future.
