Ntflix’s One Piece Season 3 Cast Adds Xolo Maridueña as Ace

Netflix and One Piece have added Xolo Maridueña to the cast for Season 3. Maridueña, known for Blue Beetle and Cobra Kai, will play Portgas D. Ace. Production starts later this year in Cape Town, South Africa.

New Cast for Season 3

Maridueña joins Cole Escola, who recently signed on as Bon Clay. Escola comes off a Tony-winning run on Broadway in Oh, Mary! and now jumps into the pirating chaos for the next chapter of One Piece.

Netflix locked in Season 3 early and continues to build momentum as the series expands deeper into Luffy’s journey.

Maridueña’s Netflix Return

Maridueña brings a strong fan base from his role as Miguel Diaz in Cobra Kai. He also took part in Netflix’s Geeked Week in 2024. Now he joins the Straw Hat universe as one of the most popular characters in the saga.

Season 2 Arrives in 2026

Before Ace arrives, fans will get One Piece: Into the Grand Line Season 2 on March 10, 2026. The Straw Hats head into the Grand Line to face new threats, meet new allies, and continue Luffy’s push toward becoming King of the Pirates.

Season 2 adds Tony Tony Chopper, voiced by Mikaela Hoover, along with Miss Wednesday played by Charithra Chandran.
