AEW and DC Comics are joining forces for a major crossover that will bring AEW wrestlers together with the Justice League in a two-issue comic book event. A special preview edition will debut exclusively at New York Comic Con this October.
AEW Enters the DC Universe
The 48-page comic is written by Steve Orlando with art by Travis Mercer and covers by Lucas Meyer. The story features AEW stars Mercedes Moné, Will Ospreay, Darby Allin, Jon Moxley, Swerve Strickland, “Hangman” Adam Page, Toni Storm, Willow Nightingale, Orange Cassidy, and Kenny Omega alongside DC icons like Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Nightwing, Zatanna, Hawkgirl, Harley Quinn, and Green Lanterns Guy Gardner and John Stewart.
Together, they set out to recover the Big Galactic Belt before it sparks a cosmic catastrophe.

NYCC Events
Fans will get an early look at the AEW / DC Comics collaboration during two New York Comic Con events:
- Friday, October 10 at 5 p.m. ET (Room 409): AEW CEO Tony Khan joins Jon Moxley, Swerve Strickland, Orange Cassidy, Willow Nightingale, Steve Orlando, and Travis Mercer for a panel on wrestling and comic storytelling.
- Saturday, October 11 at 3 p.m. ET (DC Comics Booth #4365): AEW talent and DC creators will sign the limited-edition preview comic. Wristbands for the signing will be available Saturday morning between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. ET.
Cross-Promotion Across Platforms
The crossover extends beyond comics. AEW programming on TBS and TNT will highlight DC’s DC K.O. event from Scott Snyder and Javier Fernandez, while DC Comics becomes the presenting sponsor of AEW’s Full Gear pay-per-view.
Variant AEW covers of DC K.O. will also be released, featuring wrestlers facing off against DC heroes.
Full Gear Presented by DC Comics
The partnership concludes with AEW Full Gear, live from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, on Saturday, November 22, 2025. The event will stream in the U.S. on HBO Max.
Fans can pick up the two-issue DC x AEW comic in 2026 at comic shops, ShopAEW.com, and select AEW live events.
