Superman and Minecraft come together in a new DLC that lets you play as the Man of Steel, using his powers to protect Metropolis from Lex Luthor.
Available now on Minecraft Marketplace, the add-on brings iconic characters, locations, and gameplay features tied directly to DC’s most famous hero.
What’s in the Superman DLC?
The Superman DLC introduces missions where players take on Lex Luthor’s latest scheme. He creates chaos across Metropolis to distract Superman while he carries out his real plan. As Superman, you’ll punch, freeze, and blast enemies with Heat Vision, all while solving puzzles and protecting citizens. Lois Lane also makes an appearance, offering help along the way.
Explore Superman’s World
The DLC includes several recognizable Superman locations:
- Fortress of Solitude – Your hub for missions, collectibles, and downtime with Krypto the Superdog.
- Metropolis – A city under constant threat, now fully explorable in Minecraft form.
- LuthorCorp – Lex’s headquarters filled with traps, goons, and boss fights.
- Hall of Justice – Superman doesn’t fight alone here. Join Green Lantern, Hawkgirl, Mister Terrific, and Metamorpho against Luthor’s attacks.
Powers and Gameplay
Players can soar through Metropolis at super speed, smash through enemies with Super Strength, freeze foes with Super Breath, or burn through obstacles with Heat Vision. The mechanics are built to make you feel like Superman in the Minecraft setting.
Free Item
Alongside the DLC, players can grab a free Superman fan top in the Dressing Room. It’s a way to show support for the hero even outside the missions.

The Superman DLC is available now on Minecraft Marketplace. It requires Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, sold separately.
