DC Studios has dropped a fresh TV spot for Superman titled “Rivalry,” teasing the intense showdown at the heart of James Gunn’s upcoming reboot of the iconic hero.
The 30-second clip highlights the conflict between Superman and Lex Luthor and promises fans a super-powered summer blockbuster.

Superman Hits Theaters July 11
Superman is the first DCU movie from co-CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran, with Gunn both writing and directing. The film stars David Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, alongside Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor.
The new version of the Man of Steel is described as driven by hope, compassion, and an unshakable belief in humanity’s goodness. Gunn promises a mix of action, heart, and humor that aims to set the tone for the new DC Universe.
