Happy birthday to Robert Downey Jr., who turned 60 years young on Friday and may have given fans a present in the form of a first look at his Victor Von Doom in Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday.
Images have surfaced from his birthday party in London where Robert Downey Jr. has a new curly hair look.
The birthday card has also surfaced which shows an apparent image of himself as Doctor Doom / Victor Von Doom along with two Doombots. More below.
The Russos also got in on the fun and wished Robert Downey Jr. a happy birthday by sharing a post on social media featuring fan art by Boss Logic.
Playing Doctor Doom? Or Molecule Man? Both?
Taking a closer look at the birthday card offers some interesting things as there happens to be a wand, an atomic symbol, and while Robert Downey Jr. is indeed wearing green just like Doctor Doom, he sorta resembles another Fantastic Four villain, doesn’t he?
In the image, Robert Downey Jr. kind of looks like Molecule Man who, along with Doom, has been rumored for the Fantastic Four movie.
What if Robert Downey Jr. is either playing both characters, as it is the multiverse we are talking about here, or what if the MCU combined the two characters?
Molecule Man is actually on Doom’s team in the original Secret Wars comic story. The dude is super powerful, too. Imaging Doctor Doom with Molecule Man powers? That would be insane.
Fantastic Four mystery character?
A set image from Fantastic Four also surfaced revealing a secret actor and possibly mystery character. Robert Downey Jr. appearing in Fantastic Four would give the flick a huge boost and be a big lead in to Avengers: Doomsday.

Now in production
As announced in that cast announcement video, Avengers: Doomsday is now in production and gets released on May 1, 2026.
Kevin Feige also recently said Avengers: Doomsday will focus on The Avengers, Wakandans, Fantastic Four, Thunderbolts, and the original X-Men all fighting Doctor Doom.
