Oscars Tease Marvel Reunion As Avengers: Doomsday Stars Join Lineup

The Oscars are suddenly looking like a Marvel reunion.

The Academy has announced another round of presenters for the 98th Oscars, and the lineup now includes several stars tied to Avengers: Doomsday.

Pedro Pascal, Lewis Pullman, and Channing Tatum have been added to the show, joining previously announced presenters Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, and Gwyneth Paltrow.

That means the Oscars stage could bring together multiple Marvel names just months before Avengers: Doomsday arrives in theaters.

Avengers: Doomsday Stars Join The Oscars

The latest Oscars presenter announcement includes Pascal, Pullman, and Tatum, all of whom are connected to Marvel’s next Avengers movie.

Pascal plays Reed Richards in The Fantastic Four: First Steps and is part of the Avengers: Doomsday cast. Pullman plays Bob, aka Sentry, while Tatum is expected back as Gambit after finally playing the fan-favorite X-Men character in Deadpool & Wolverine.

Downey is also part of the Doomsday lineup, this time playing Doctor Doom after years as Tony Stark/Iron Man. Evans is also back in the mix, while Paltrow’s presence adds another original MCU connection to the Oscars lineup.

Marvel Reunion Could Be A Big Oscars Moment

The Academy has not announced a formal Marvel segment, and there is no confirmation that the Doomsday cast will appear together onstage.

Still, the presenter lineup is hard to ignore. Downey, Evans, Paltrow, Pascal, Pullman, and Tatum all appearing at the same Oscars opens the door for some kind of Marvel moment, even if it is only a quick reunion or a few camera shots during the broadcast.

It would also make sense from a hype standpoint. Avengers: Doomsday is one of Disney and Marvel’s biggest upcoming releases, and the Oscars remain one of the most-watched entertainment events of the year.

Whether Marvel gets an actual tease or not, fans are already going to be watching for any interaction between the stars.

Doomsday Hype Keeps Building

Avengers: Doomsday is shaping up to be Marvel’s biggest crossover since Avengers: Endgame.

The film brings back the Russo brothers and features a massive cast that includes Avengers, Fantastic Four characters, X-Men names, and returning MCU favorites.

Downey’s return as Doctor Doom remains the biggest hook, especially with Evans also attached to the movie. Add in Pascal’s Reed Richards, Pullman’s Sentry, and Tatum’s Gambit, and the Oscars presenter list suddenly looks like a preview of Marvel’s next major event.

Marvel has not announced a trailer or footage for the Oscars, so fans should not expect anything official unless Disney says otherwise. But with this many Doomsday names in the building, speculation is going to happen either way.

Oscars Air March 15

The 98th Oscars air live on Sunday, March 15, 2026, on ABC and Hulu, with Conan O’Brien hosting.

The newly announced presenters also include Rose Byrne, Nicole Kidman, Jimmy Kimmel, Delroy Lindo, Ewan McGregor, Wagner Moura, Bill Pullman, and Sigourney Weaver.

For Marvel fans, though, the bigger story is the growing Avengers: Doomsday presence at the show.
